Senior UX Designer

Our client is adding to their teams to meet project deadlines!  We are seeking a creatively talented UX Designer with a strong background in constructing sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as understanding business requirements and technical limitations. The UX Designer must be comfortable working in dynamic, fast paced team for all internal departments, from IT, PMO, Consumer Direct, Sales, and Customer Service Portals.

Job Description

Seeking a creatively talented Senior UX Designer with a strong background in IA, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as understanding business requirements and technical limitations. The Senior UX Designer must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced team for all internal departments, from IT, PMO, Consumer Direct, Sales, and Customer Service Portals.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Seven (7) or more years of UX design experience
  • Innovative skills in illustration, imagery, typography and diagrammatic expertise and iconography are an advantage
  • B2C design experience on products reaching millions of users.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to work with clients to understand requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision
  • Ability to clearly vocalize and effectively justify design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • This role is 90% Design, 10% Research
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile first and responsive web design
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
  • A clear understanding of the importance of User Centered Design and design thinking
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
  • Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design and all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
  • Be team oriented with the ability to work independently and assertively to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Be a self-starter who identifies opportunities and potential problems – addressing them effectively and efficiently
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers
  • Be creative and have strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ADA Compliance
  • Knowledge of mobile, tablet and desktop platforms
  • Fluent in English
